I’m still standing in the pouring rain,
too tired to walk away.
The bird of the season is flying off,
and the paper boat is still in my hand.
The water currents are powerful,
and my thoughts are moving too slowly.
I looked up at the sky—
oh, it’s a sunny day.
Yet I feel cold,
with winter approaching.
Snow is stuffed inside my hood,
seeking warmth,
but it’s freezing my soul.
I gaze at that burning candle,
but the heat is slipping away.
I love how we can connect our inner selves with nature! Our feelings remind me of the rain, sunshine, and wind—they can cry, smile, and even talk to us. That’s why I enjoy sharing my thoughts through nature. It’s like creating poetry that mixes my inner feelings with the beauty of the natural world.
