A little younger

If I were a little younger,
I could move mountains high,
Paint the birds with vibrant hues,
Make the flowers touch the sky,
If I were a little younger.

I could glare at the sun’s bright gleam,
Build a castle on the moon’s serene,
Sense the time within my grasp,
Lift the jungle, break its clasp,
If I were a little younger.

I could hold the wind within my hand,
Draw the stars upon the land,
Talk with trees in whispered speech,
Fight the bears, their growls I’d breach,
If I were a little younger.

I could cross the ocean-wide,
Fight the devils, stand with pride,
Speak with the rain in gentle choir,
Fly higher, reaching dreams entire,
If I were a little younger.
